01The service
Seapurse is an application for yacht crew: a shared shopping list, an expense log, receipt capture, and exports for whoever has to sign off on the money. It is provided as is, subject to these terms.
02Your account
You need an account to use Seapurse. You agree to:
- Give a real email address that you control.
- Keep your password to yourself.
- Be who you say you are.
- Be at least 16 years old.
You are responsible for what happens on your account.
03Vessels and roles
Every vessel has a captain. The captain invites crew and assigns their roles, and those roles decide what each person can read and change. The captain sees the whole vessel's expenses; crew see the ones they paid for.
Whoever registers a vessel is responsible for having the authority to do so and to act for its owner. Seapurse does not verify vessel ownership.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Seapurse to commit fraud, including entering expenses that did not happen.
- Try to reach vessels or data you are not a member of.
- Reverse engineer the app or try to derive our source code.
- Resell or rebrand Seapurse without written permission.
- Use Seapurse where sanctions prohibit it.
We may suspend or close your account if you do any of these.
05Plans and payment
Seapurse has two paid plans. Solo is for one person tracking their own spending. Yacht is for a captain running a crew, and includes crew seats and vessel-wide reporting.
Payment runs through Apple's in-app purchases. Where a free trial is offered, Apple states its length and the price that follows at the moment you subscribe, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it before the trial ends. You cancel from your Apple account settings, not from us. We do not refund partial periods except where the law requires it.
06Your data
Your data is yours. The privacy policy sets out what we collect and what we do with it. You can export your expenses as CSV at any time, and you can delete your account from inside the app.
07Our intellectual property
The Seapurse code, name, logo and content belong to Suon Labs. You get a non-transferable licence to use the app for your own vessel's operations.
08Warranties and liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our liability for any claim arising from these terms or from your use of Seapurse is limited to whichever is greater: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50.
We are not liable for:
- Data lost through your own action, such as deleting an expense or a vessel.
- Decisions taken on the basis of what Seapurse shows you, such as a budget overrun.
- Outages at services we depend on.
- Lost profit, lost business, or other indirect damage.
Seapurse is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not replace your obligations to the vessel's owner or to any authority.

10Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will announce it in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Seapurse after that means you accept the updated terms.
